The House Captains have been fundraising for the last few months to save our school pond. On Thursday, May 2nd, they finally began the hard work. The captains spent the day cutting down all the brambles and weeds to prepare for the enormous task of replacing the fence and pond liner and adding new elements.

Over the last few weeks, the House Captains have worked extremely hard to develop the pond area. They have drained the pond and cleared the surrounding area.  

Next, they laid the foundation for the new pond and filled it with fresh water, adding a fountain to ensure there is movement in the water. 

Finally, they have started to work the soil and add new plants.
